Are certificates/diplomas obtained in the EU automatically recognized in Slovenia?
No. The system of assessment and recognition of diplomas and certificates obtained abroad is regulated by national legislation, which prescribes the process of recognition or assessment of education as compulsory or at the request of the client, depending on the purpose (for the labour market, for the purpose of continuing education, recognition of regulated professions, etc.).
