In assessment of education procedure, an opinion is issued about different elements of education. The opinion serves as support in identifying and placing of both foreign and Slovenian educational certificates.

After registering, you will enter all the required information manually.

Before submitting your application, please read the IMPORTANT INFORMATION (documents and costs) and the LIST OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS you must submit. The files are attached below.

When submitting your electronic application, you must also submit signed "Consent to obtain information".

If the application is sent by mail, we recommend that it be sent by registered mail and that the originals be appropriately protected.

To submit the application you need

To submit an application, you need:

1. fully completed form V Application for Assessment of Education Form

2. an original of the certificate or diploma, proving the completed education, that you wish to be assessed;

3. a photocopy of the certificate or diploma referred to in Point 2;

4. a certified Slovene translation of the certificate or diploma referred to in Point 2;

5. photocopy of the evidence on the contents, duration of the education and the requirements fulfilled during the educational programme (Diploma supplement, annual report cards, transcripts or others);

6. a statement of chronological educational background, including previous education;

7. a receipt of the paid costs of the process of assessment of education (50 EUR) or proof from Slovenian institution that the applicant is entitled to claim exemption from charges.

If the application is submitted in person to the main office of the ministry, the office hours are:  Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 15:30 and Friday from 9:00 to 14:30.

If the application is submitted in person to an evaluator, an appointment must be made in advance via email: enic-naric@gov.si or telephone: +386 1 478 4745.

Payment of the cost of the assessment of education procedure at the main office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation is only possible by payment card.
