Aktivnost: Loss, theft or misplacement of passport
If you have lost your passport, was stolen or is missing, you have to report it to any administrative unit within 8 days. If this happened abroad, you have to report it within 30 days at a diplomatic representation or consulate of the Republic of Slovenia, or within 8 days of your return to Slovenia at an administrative unit.
It is not sufficient to report the loss of your passport only to the police. Upon your report, please describe the situation and date of loss, misplacement or theft in detail. The application for the issuance of a new passport can be submitted immediately after your report.
Misappropriated passports

You may verify, if a passport card was reported as lost, missing or stolen and is no longer valid. Enquiries are being carried out with a one-day delay. The latest information can be obtained at an administrative unit.
