Certificates and extracts: Residence certificates

This certificate is to prove that you have a registered permanent or temporary residence in the Republic of Slovenia, or that you have previously registered your residence in the Republic of Slovenia.

You must register your residence address or change of your residence address when you take up permanent residence at a new address.

A permanent residence or a change of residence address must be registered within eight days of taking up residence or being served a foreigner’s permanent residence permit. To submit your application, click here.

A temporary residence must be registered within eight days of taking up residence or being served a foreigner’s temporary residence permit or a certificate of registration of residence in the Republic of Slovenia. If you leave your temporary residence before the expiry of your stay, you must deregister it. To submit your application, click here.

The application allows you to obtain a certificate of your registered permanent or temporary address, or of your previous registered residences.
