Certificates and extracts: Extract from the central register of marriage
The marriage is proved by the extract from the central register.
The extract contains the information on both spouses and the place and date of marriage. If the marriage has dissolved, this is evident as well.
You can claim an extract of marriage for yourself or for another person who has authorised you by a written statement.
The extract contains the following data:
· date and place of marriage;
· personal names, unique personal identification numbers and date and place of birth of both partners;
· surnames of both partners after the marriage;
· indication of dissolution of the marriage due to divorce, annulment or death.
