Agricultural land: Sale of agricultrural land, farm or forest

The owner who intends to sell agricultural land, forest or farm must submit the offer for sale in triplicate to the administrative unit in the area where this agricultural land, forest or farm is located.

The property, however, is at its owner's disposal but in the sale of agricultural land, forest or farm the process of selling these lands governed by the Agricultural Land Act must be considered. Land parcels for sale are published on the bulletin boards of administrative units and on the state portal E-Uprava (eGovernment).

An offer must contain:

- personal information about the seller (personal name and address of permanent or temporary residence or company name and registered office);
data on agricultural land, forest or farm (parcel number, cadastral municipality, area);

- price

and
- any other conditions.

If the agricultural land to be sold is leased, the offer must also indicate that the agricultural land is leased and state the expiry date of the leasing contract.

The administrative unit in the area of which the agricultural land, forest or farm is located, must publish the offer on the bulletin board and the uniform state portal E-Uprava (eGovernment). The offer must be published on the bulletin board and on the state portal E-Uprava (eGovernment) for 30 days. The deadline for accepting the offer is 15 days from the date when the offer was published on the bulletin board of the administrative unit. If during this time no one accepts the offer, the seller must repeat it if he/she still wants to sell the agricultural land, forest or farm.
