The death of a person deceased in a health institute or organization must be reported to the competent authorities by the institute or organization where such a person died. The death registration must be accompanied by death certificate issued by a competent health professional who established the death and health institute, respectively, if it was there that the person died.

In the case of a death of an alien, the registrar is obliged, in accordance with the provisions of a concluded international agreement, to forward a copy from the Central Population Register to the Ministry competent for Foreign Affairs and competent foreign diplomatic and consular mission, respectively, within 3 days following the registration for the purposes of forwarding it to the country of which the registered person is citizen.
