Contemporary technologies are firmly anchored in business operations of individuals, companies, and public sector, as well as. The increase in the volume of documentation appearing in electronic form does not represent only a simpler, more transparent and more efficient business operations, but also brings about the need for a safe and reliable custody of all e-material. The e-custody of electronic business and official documentation is of special importance and binding under numerous Slovenian regulations. A new act is in preparation in the Republic of Slovenia on the protection of documentary material and archives, which will conclude the entirety of Slovenian legislation in the area of e-commerce and ensure an even higher quality of the environment for e-commerce in the Republic of Slovenia.
