E-commerce in Public Administration of RS for the Period from the Year 2001 till the
Year 2004 is a strategic document, which supplements the Strategy of E-commerce in
Public Administration of RS for the Period from the Year 2001 until the year 2004.
The Action Plan defines the objectives, e-services, and tasks for establishing eGovernment
up to the end of 2004.
The reports shows gradual, but sustained realisation of plans, which are written in the
Strategy of E-commerce in Public Administration for the Period from 2001 until 2004. The
results show that Slovenia is quickly catching up with the average level of development
of e-services in EU states. The methodology of measurements, which was made by the EU,
does not measure electronic services in the area of operations inside bodies of public
administration (G2G), where Slovenia, taking into account the estimate of experts, has
achieved very high development by European standards.

The Strategy of E-Commerce in Public Administration of the Republic
of Slovenia for the Period from 2001 until 2004, which was prepared by the Government Centre for Informatics of
the RS in cooperation with other state bodies of the RS and specialists and is a document, which serves as a
foundation for all efforts, projects, activities, and tasks for the transition of public administration of the RS
into an information society by the end of 2004. |
