The Republic of Slovenia is a Democratic Republic founded on the principle of separation of powers into a legislative, executive and judiciary powers.

Slovenia is also a resident country of the Roma community. Its position and privileges are governed by the law.
 
Official language: the Slovenian language, as well as Hungarian and Italian in ethnically mixed areas.
Religion: The majority of population are Roman Catholics; in Slovenia, there are also thirty other religious communities that have officially registered their activities.
